Schools

Most of Auburn is within the DeKalb County Central United School District.  There are two elementary schools in Auburn: James R. Watson Elementary School and McKenney-Harrison Elementary School.  After they finish elementary school, students then go to DeKalb Middle School in Waterloo, Indiana.  They then continue onto Dekalb High School, also in Waterloo.  There are several choices for attending college within a 1-2 hour drive from Auburn: Angola, Fort Wayne, South Bend, Marion, Muncie, Valparaiso, and Toledo (Ohio) all offer top-of-the-line colleges and universities.
