Dan Bergfors

My experience working with Dan was great! If you want a realtor who actually cares, get him. He was always there whenever I had a question or concern. And if we needed to solve a problem, he was quick for a solution. To me, he truly wants the best for his clients and looks for the best interests of them. 

Returning to Florida after a trip to see family in Indiana, we called on Dan Bergfors in Crawfordsville, IN.  Although that home was not our final destination it did begin a relationship which would bring us to our new home in Crawfordsville.  Dan stayed with us as we sold our home in Florida and at the same time viewed homes long distance, with Dan walking us through homes with his own video/audio, being our eyes, ears, and even nose when evaluating properties, just as if we were there.  Dan was much more than that though, he was a source for ensuring location within the community was safe and would meet our desires and needs.  Dan answered any question we had along with many requests, but even more important Dan guided us so we got a nice home at the best price.  He worked for us.  Thank you Dan!

I first met Dan Bergfors when I was visiting his father-in-law, Dr. Paul Ludwig. We were talking on their porch and I learned that Dan recently had obtained his realtor license . When I first started thinking about selling my home, I contacted Mr. Bergfors and asked if he would walk through my home and give me a sense of its value. I think that this was in the spring of 2019. He walked through the house and I remember him being astounded at its size. While the house doesn’t look very big from the street, in fact, there is a furnished basement with a half-bath. I was comfortable working with Dan and told him that if and hen I decided to sell I would give him an opportunity to make a proposal. Well, during the summer of 2019, I reached a decision that I needed to move when an opportunity to purchase a condo arose. I contacted Dan again as well as a second realtor and requested proposals. Dan came back to the house and took extensive measurements as well as photos. He even brought a drone and took aerial pictures of the house. He made some suggestions for improvements and submitted his proposal. After reviewing the two proposals, I chose Dan’s even though he placed a lower value on the house than the other realtor. I believed that Dan would be focused on selling my home. I decided not to place the house on the market until after I had moved out of the house. That was the first of October. I believe that the first advertisement about the house appeared on October 11 with an open house on October 12. The sale of the house was completed in November. I think the house was sold within 4 weeks of when it was placed on the market, which I felt was astounding and clearly to my benefit. Dan was fully attentive to the house while it was on the market. He made sure that the driveway was clear of leaves and that the house always was presentable. We had a problem with water. Dan helped resolve the problem quickly. Dan also managed the final sale. When the inspector hired by the prospective buyer raised a number of issues, Dan thoroughly reviewed them with me and made suggestions. He always was fully engaged and was careful to review all of the documents presented by the inspector. I assure you that can be a bit overwhelming.  When I sell the condominium unit that I currently own, I know that Dan will be my representative!

Stacey and I would like to thank you for helping us purchase our new home and getting our previous  home sold.  We appreciate how easy you made the process for us, especially keeping us informed and up to date with information and made sure all of our paperwork was done in a timely fashion.  Thanks again, it was a pleasure to work with you. 

Dan Bergfors is one of the best realtor's we have used. He was honest, accurate and always available. He took beautiful pictures of our home we sold with a very detailed description. It was sold in one day!!! He aso helped us buy a home and the process was seamless. I would recommend Dan to anyone wanting to buy and/or sell a home.

Only good things to say about Dan. From checking out houses, making the right offer, helping us find the right loan company, to the closing, there was no doubt Dan was working for us. The word I’d use to describe our entire house buying process was “Smooth!”  Grateful for all he did to make our daughter’s first house buying experience a good one!! Thanks Dan!
