Lapel sits at the intersection of two state roads that travel through Indiana. These two routes are State Road 32 (running east to west) and State Road 13 (running north to south). Heading south on State Road 13 will take you to I-69, which will give you access Indianapolis if you head south and Fort Wayne if you head north. Many of the major suburbs and the city of Indianapolis are all easily accessible from Lapel. For students who are attending sixth grade through eighth grade, Lapel Middle School on State Road 13 is the place to be. There is only one high school located in town as well, and that is Lapel Senior High School. It is located on South 900 West and gets great ratings from parents who have had children enrolled there. The public school system in Lapel is great, and you are sure to enjoy the city if you choose to live here. The only private school option is Gentle Shepherds Preschool, but there may be more options in nearby Pendleton or Noblesville.
