Mark Lighthizer

Hi, I’m Mark, a passionate real estate agent with a unique background that shapes how I approach my work. Growing up as the child of a fifth-generation mason, I witnessed the grit of true craftsmanship and the importance of building solid foundations— both in construction and in life.  This background instilled a deep appreciation for the art of building, whether it’s a home or a trusting relationship with clients. 

In addition to being a realtor, I work at an interior and architectural design firm.  Being the main project coordinator between designers, architects, contractors and clients in many Indianapolis restaurants, I married my eye for aesthetics with my appreciation of functionality. This work allows me to help clients envision the potential of each property for their wants and needs.  Whether buying or selling, industry expertise and a personal touch guides my narrative around each listing.  I pride myself on providing personalized service and clear communication through the buying and selling process.  I believe every client deserves support and guidance tailored to their needs.

When outside the office, you can find me at home with my partner, Maurice (a fellow realtor), and our two cats, Hera and Leon, enjoying a craft cocktail on the screened-in porch.  Being recent first home buyers ourselves, we spend our evenings sipping and plotting our next renovation.  Whether it be retiling the bathroom or mapping out the kitchen cabinets, we continue to make our home ours.
