Originally from the suburbs of Houston, TX, he has planted roots and made Indianapolis home. Prior to his career in real estate, Maurice worked in the field of education as a university professor, research consultant, and program specialist. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Education from New York University and a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University.
