Beech Grove City Schools consists of five schools: Hornet Park Elementary, Central Elementary, South Grove Intermediate, Beech Grove Middle, and Beech Grove High as well as the Hornet Enrichment Academy. The school's athletic teams are the "Hornets" and participate as members of the statewide Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA). The Franklin Township Community School Corporation also serves some of the Beech Grove region as well.
