DeMotte students are served by the Kankakee Valley School Corporation. After picking up the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic, students move on to Kankakee Valley Intermediate School and Kankakee Valley Middle School. These schools provide new levels of academic rigor combined with a diverse social landscape that includes the residents of many surrounding towns. Finally at Kankakee Valley High School, students grapple with AP classes and a large list of extracurricular activities that range from varsity sports to arts and civics. In addition to Kankakee Valley High, DeMotte students also have the option of attending the Covenant Christian High School, located right in town.
