Deb Shop is a trendy women’s apparel store. Market Square Shopping Center features stores that can satisfy many shopping needs. Tippecanoe Mall is an indoor mall offering a delightful array of shopping selections from jewelry to women's apparel and a food court including more than 100 specialty stores and large chain stores. The mall is conveniently located between State Road 38 and State Road 52.

Culture and Entertainment

East Earl Community Park is a large park with plenty of amenities and the place where residents like to go to spend a quiet day. The park includes a camping area and a recreational area as well. The peaceful town comes alive every year in September when Earl Park holds the Earl Park Fall Festival, attracting thousands of people from all over the region. It features a carnival, tractor pull, flea market, demolition derby, and several other attractions.

In Lafayette, Columbian Park Zoo is a great place where kids of all ages can pet the animals and enjoy the spacious grounds, located on a nice oasis in town. Jerry E. Clegg Botanic Gardens provides some fantastic scenery and hiking trails that easily meander around to give visitors charming views of Wildcat Creek. The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette has a variety of displays including fabrics, jewelry, and woodwork with some unusual pieces.

Careers and Industry

Benton County is over 90 percent agriculture and is one of Indiana’s top agriculture communities thanks to its high-yielding soil. Earl Park is located in Richland township which is named for its rich, black topsoil. Near record crop yields are common in this area of Indiana. There is also an innovative farm in the town: the Benton County Wind Farm was the first large wind farm in Indiana, established in 2008.

There are a number of businesses in Earl Park, besides the numerous agribusinesses, that are strong and thriving. Some have been family-owned for generations while some are large corporations. Schools

Earl Park’s students are served by the Benton Community School Corporation. This school district includes three elementary schools for Kindergarten-6th Grade and one junior-senior high school covering Grades 7-12 . There are also many programs including Adult Continuing Education, after-school programs, and an excellent array of athletic and extracurricular activities for students.
