American Table Restaurant is a hometown favorite restaurant known for their variety of 130 made-to-order quality menu items. California Desert Restaurant serves authentic Mexican and pasta dishes. Claypool Inn has the best grinders in the county.

Culture and Entertainment

There are many attractions around the Etna Green area. The Etna Green Museum in Heritage Park offers a glimpse into the lives of past generations who lived in the town. A mural painted by Robert A. Hudson at Remembrance Park on State Road 19 in downtown Etna Green is a must-see.

The Etna Green area is a great place for anglers to land that monster fish. There are an incredible 319 lakes within 31 miles of town including Mud Lake, Hoffman Lake, and Crystal Lake. Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is an 18-acre country sanctuary that provides refuge to more than 80 displaced, captive-raised exotic animals for the rest of their lives. The Dixie Sternwheeler is Indiana's oldest sternwheel tour boat cruising beautiful Webster Lake. 

The Center Street Community Theatre gives quality performances and preserves the theater arts in the community. The Embassy Theatre was built in 1928 as a movie palace and today it is the home of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra. Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum contains seven main galleries displaying the museum's automobile collection.

Billy Sunday, known as “the baseball evangelist,” settled in Winona Lake, and The Billy Sunday Home Museum holds the belongings of the Sunday family. The Lawrence D. Bell Aircraft Museum educates visitors about early aviation history. Mount Memorial Hall Grace College Art Gallery is a historical Renaissance Revival structure that was built nearly a century ago; its gallery displays the works of students and faculty as well as locally- and widely-known artists.

Careers and Industry

Manufacturing is the most common industry in the Etna Green area with more than half the jobs available coming from this industry. Other common industries include construction; educational services; retail trade; transportation and warehousing; and mining, quarrying, and oil/gas extraction. Agriculture plays a large role in the local economy with numerous farms in the area and businesses that support them. The healthcare industry also contributes to the local economy. Kosciusko Community Hospital is the community health care provider.

Schools

The Triton School Corporation was formed to consolidate the schools of Bourbon, Etna Green, and Tippecanoe. The corporation’s mission is to develop students to be literate, responsible, and proficient in state and national standards and college/career ready. Triton Elementary School is a Four Star School as awarded by the Indiana Department of Education. The Triton team is eager to partner with parents to create open communication and a nurturing environment for students to grow and achieve.
