Martinsville East Middle School is one of two middle schools located in the Metropolitan School District Martinsville. The School has 672 students from grades six through eight, with a student to teacher ratio of 19:1. The school is happy to report that its students thrive in their learning environment and tend to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. The school’s athletic department boasts numerous champion sports teams including football, golf, volleyball and cross country teams. The school is also proud of its numerous academic programs and encourages parents to become actively involved in their child’s education.
Martinsville West Middle School
Martinsville West Middle School is one of two middle schools in the Metropolitan School District Martinsville Schools area. The school has 584 students in grades six through eight with a teacher to student ratio of 15:1. This ratio ensures small class sizes and individualized attention for your child. The school boasts an “A” grade accountability rating from the state of Indiana. The school has numerous sports teams such as volleyball, basketball, swimming, cheerleading and more. In addition to its athletics the school has numerous academic and artistic extracurricular activities including Student Council, Movie Club and Middle School Business Professionals of America, among others. The school prides itself on allowing its students to become well rounded individuals with a focus on education as well as outside passions.
Martinsville High School
Martinsville High School is the sole High School in the Metropolitan School District Martinsville. There are approximately 1,661 students in grades nine through twelve with a teacher to student ratio of 19:1. Martinsville High School is the final stop on your child’s journey in the district and ensures that your child’s final school years will be both successful and personally rewarding. The school has embraced the use of new technology and encourages their students to utilize eBooks in both their science and literary studies. The school has numerous academic programs such as Science Club, Student Council and Broadcast Television Club. In addition to their academic programs the school boasts a myriad of sports teams including Football, Swimming, Basketball and Cross Country.
