Worthington Elementary

The second school serving the area is Worthington, which accommodates about 250 students in grades kindergarten through sixth from the townships of Jefferson and Smith, portions of Fairplay and Grant townships, and the incorporated town of Worthington. White River Valley Junior-Senior High School

WRV High is a 6-year comprehensive public school, situated in Switz City, which offers a well-balanced curriculum, including advanced placement and dual-credit courses, as well as several vocational programs. Students may choose to concentrate on agriculture, industrial technology, and business among other course clusters. The school’s enrollment is close to 410 students, served by 28 professional staff members, including a librarian, a counselor, a nurse, a computer coordinator and an athletics director.
