Zionsville Community School District, Boone County, Indiana

Boone Meadow Elementary School
Boone Meadow Elementary School can be found on the western edge of Zionsville near Highway 52. The school focuses on providing a strong learning environment that encourages taking risks, diversity, and academic excellence. The school has several interesting programs to keep children engaged and fulfilled. Depending on availability, students may even be able to begin learning a second language while still in elementary school.
Eagle Elementary School
Eagle Elementary School is located on the east side of Zionsville near Highway 421. This school is known for being active in the community, particularly when it comes to physical activity. The Jog-A-Thon fundraiser was started here and has now spread to become a district-wide event. The school also hosts many other community events.
Pleasant View Elementary School
Located in the northeast part of Zionsville, Pleasant View Elementary School has a full calendar and many in-school activities to encourage young children to find their passion. This school offers a sound education for students from preschool through 4th Grade, and rounds out their education with strong art, music, and physical education programs as well.
Stonegate Elementary School
Stonegate Elementary is on the northwest side of Zionsville. This K-4 elementary school keeps students engaged in their education with frequent activities and encourages parent involvement at all levels. Teachers here guide students to be inquisitive about the world around them. Technology in integrated into all classrooms to give students opportunities to learn 21st Century skills at an early age.
Union Elementary School
Union Elementary School is located in the far north of Zionsville. Its facilities were completely upgraded to a new building in 2008. Part of this improvement included new desks and other equipment, two new computer labs, a science laboratory, and a new gym. Union Elementary encourages all students and their families to recycle used paper by having a convenient paper drop-off bin at the school.
Zionsville Middle School
Zionsville Middle School is one of two middle schools in the Zionsville Community School District. This middle school serving students in Grades 5-8 offers many activities to keep students interested. Teachers here are trained to implement a variety of projects and programs to keep students active during their school day. By using technology as an interdisciplinary tool, students learn to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it toward real-world problems. The school has a strong guidance program and plenty of athletic teams including wrestling, cross country, tennis, golf, and basketball to name a few.
Zionsville West Middle School
Zionsville West Middle School is located near Zionsville Middle School. Zionsville West follows a rigorous standards-based curriculum and offers many enrichment, academic, and athletic activities. Students in Grades 5-8 get the opportunity to learn Spanish or French, art, orchestra, band, choir, industrial arts, and technology. Zionsville West offers a full range of sports for both boys and girls throughout the entire year.
Zionsville High School
Zionsville High School is the district’s only high school. Recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s top schools, it was the only school in Indiana to receive that award. It offers excellent academic programs including quiz teams and participation in the National Merit program. Athletic programs are equally robust with sports like baseball, tennis, football, volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country, basketball, wrestling, swimming, cheerleading, softball, track, and lacrosse that are offered to Zionsville students.
