Welcome to the small, quaint town of Waterloo. The town is nestled within DeKalb County in northern Indiana. The town of Waterloo was originally laid out in 1856, thanks to the construction of the railroad into town. The town dates back many centuries before this. A skeleton of a mastodon was discovered in 1888 near this town and is being displayed in Pittsburg at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

The town of Waterloo is conveniently located along US-6, which connects the western perimeter of town to I-69. Waterloo can also be found at the southern tip of State Road 427. This makes it easy to get in and out of town and access larger, nearby towns as well.
Waterloo is also on the Norfolk Southern Railway line (Waterloo Station stop) and is served by two Amtrak trains including Capital Limited and Lake Shore Limited.
