The Lebanon Community School Corporation covers the city of Lebanon and some of the surrounding areas. This educator-focused corporation has achieved several honors for the district including placing multiple schools in Indiana Four Star School List. 

Each school in the Lebanon Community School System has a busy academic calendar filled with community interaction, learning opportunities and extracurricular sports.  If you buy a home in the Lebanon School District, your children may be organized into one of the following great Lebanon schools:

Central Elementary School

This warm elementary school in the south of Lebanon is very popular with local families. This school boasts one of the area’s strongest Parent-Teacher Organizations. Parental involvement is encouraged at all levels, so this is a great school for parents who want to be active in their child’s education.

Harney Elementary School

Harney Elementary School on the north side of Lebanon is one of the fastest growing schools in the system. It receives regular renovations and additions to accommodate for the growth, as new students are constantly moving into the area for the high-quality schools. The school has a computer lab, advanced media center, and a performance stage for student fun and education.

Hattie B. Stokes Elementary

Hattie B. Stokes Elementary is located on the far southeast side of Lebanon. Built shortly after the millennium, this is one of the newest elementary schools in the area. This school has several activities and programs that it offers, such as hosting a local food pantry.  Students in this K-5 elementary school is also a Title I school, which mean they receive federal funds for training and materials designed to help all students excel in math and literacy.

Perry-Worth Elementary

Perry-Worth Elementary School is another great school in the area and one of the best-equipped to deal with students with special needs. Special education services include everything from speech therapy classes to English as a New Language support.  Teachers here at this K-5 elementary school work with each student to ensure they reach their fullest potential.

Lebanon Middle School

Lebanon Middle School is currently the only middle school serving Lebanon, located next to the high school. Students are engaged in their core education as well as related arts, such as music, art, industrial arts, agriculture, Spanish, technology, and physical education. This middle school has a lot of great advantages to enjoy including a great athletic program to prepare kids for high school sports.

Lebanon High School

Lebanon High School was named in the Top 30 high schools in Indiana by US News. This is the only high school serving Lebanon, and it can be found next to the middle school. It has a robust academic and athletic calendar filled with plenty of opportunities for teens to explore interests and find guidance.

The Lebanon Sports Team is the Tigers, and the following sports are offered throughout the year: cross country, soccer, tennis, cheerleading, football, lacrosse, golf, volleyball, basketball, swimming, wrestling, baseball, track, and softball.
